September 2, 10:35 am : New Orleans is in a state of anarchy, bodies are rotting in the gutters, thugs are patrolling the streets and this is what President Sunshine had to say (via WTF):
"The good news is -- and it's hard for some to see it now -- that out of this chaos is going to come a fantastic Gulf Coast, like it was before. Out of the rubbles of Trent Lott's house -- he's lost his entire house -- there's going to be a fantastic house. And I'm looking forward to sitting on the porch. (Laughter.)"
Jesus Christ, does he even realize what's going on? Is he in a cocaine daze or what? What the fuck is wrong with this guy?

Not entirely sure what his affliction is, but I fear it might be contagious.
he snorted too much coke back in the day, and considering that he probably didn't have much of a brain to start with, that didn't help matters much....

i thought rubble was a singular noun? perhaps he was thinking of his father's other great worry, besides iraq and a natural disaster - the falling value of the russian rubles?
For the president to be making any light hearted comment at this hour is really truely disgraceful and betrays a total lack of sense. He needs to fire some of the people responsible for the amazing laxity on display. - MINOTAUR
dorna : Well, in that case I'm glad I'm on the east coast
lumi : yeah, some coke particles probably got stuck midway and have been keeping him high ever since.
eb : you give him too much credit. no, he's just grammatically challenged.
mino : asking him to fire himself is asking too much.
